Caitlin is a writer and editor from Naarm (Melbourne), whose fiction blends comedy and pathos to explore themes of female subjectivity, identity, and subversion.
In 2021, she completed a Master of Arts in Writing and Literature at Deakin University, specialising in creative writing. Her work has been published in Australia's Style Magazine, The Blue Nib Literary Magazine, WORDLY, Intrepid Times, among others.
Caitlin developed a love for storytelling whilst undertaking a Bachelor of Film and Television at Swinburne University of Technology, which saw her write and direct several short films, including the drag queen comedy, Death's a Drag.
In 2019, she spent a year in Los Angeles where she co-wrote and produced the independent film Fallen Angel, whilst also participating in weekly writing groups, workshops, and attending networking events. That year, her 60-minute T.V. pilot, Welcome to Willows Creek, won the Grand Jury Prize at the Hollywood Casting and Film Screenwriting Competition.
